What do you say when someone tells you conversationally: “”It’s not that I don’t believe in monogamy. It’s that I don’t think that monogamy is the only possible expression of human needs and desires,”" Well if you’re a woman you roll your eyes and look at him in disgust thinking “what a sleazebag”. If you’re man, you snigger as if something very naughty has just been said. At least that’s what happened at a recent do I went to. Some one once told me that he saw the Internet as this huge invisible machine in cyberspace that was sorting out the human race on the basis of their likes and dislikes. It’s not that far away from the truth is it? At least as far as porn goes.
While surfing these days, I’m always shocked and awed by the depth and ……broadness of what’s out there. Just about anything imaginable (or even unimaginable) is just a click away. It’s as if the Internet allowed all these erstwhile weirdos to crawl out of every rock and proclaim: “Hey we aren’t weird. We’re a whole new subculture.” Read more

“Hey,” said a female colleague to me the other day, “I didn’t know you were a porn addict.” She had, of course, read my blog. It was just the beginning of another glorious day in office. “Sure I watch porn occasionally,” I countered tentatively. Then added: “Don’t you.” She looked aghast. “Not at all.
