Shiv Sena has never had it so bad. Except Sharad Pawar, nobody seems to take Sena seriously.
Credit for reducing Sena to irrelevance must go to Rahul Gandhi, whose visit to Mumbai on February 6th transformed the situation. Gandhi’s strong position that Mumbai belongs to all Indians galvanized the Congress-led state government, encouraged his friend Shah Rukh Khan to stand his ground and prompted large sections of the middle class to come out openly against the Sena.
