I think this fellow soofi is one of those people who belong to a category of sub humans who resort to bashing their own and laoth for their own people and favouring enemies just to score some brownie points. People like him can never solve any kind of problems, they make Indians look cheap and easy.
India and Pakistan are two different nations, with two very different kind of people who have different values and aspirations in life. All this talk of cultural similarity is BS.
I have been to Lahore twice and once to SArghoda and I did not see a speck of similarity between the Indian punjab and the Pakistani punjab besides the fact that both populations speak punjabi.
Let us not try to build sand castles in the air but live pragmatically and sensibly.

Just like the wise man said that poems are good to hear but they are not meant to be applied in real life, because they are poems. Let us be realistic people and not give people like Soofi all this importance

Mayank , I appreciate your sentiments for the poor rickshaw pullers and the dis-comfort you had while walking on the bylanes of chandni-chowk.

Ban on rickshaw was definitely a great step but was just not enough. This helped in easing out the jam caused by rickshaws but at the same time more steps have to be taken to ease the traffic jam. For instance there should be no commercial viechle (big ones like TATA-407 , fourwheeelers etc) allowed during busy shopping hours. Also for the comfort of shoppers there should be a sleek tram with capacity of 100-150 should be available to help shoppers commute to and fro , every 5 minutes or so.

Also the CARs should not be allowed in the lane where the TRAM would be running. If all this is implemented you will see a better chandni chowk. Unfortunately Government does not have any vision for better governance and causing discomfort to aam aadmi !!

FYI : The rickshawas is north Delhi are not owned by Rickshaw pullers rather by businessmen who pay a very small amount to the rickshaw pullers which is far far less then the labour involved.

Keep up the good work of provoking thoughts.... they may not get us result but atleast makes one think. May be one day the thoughts will turn into actions.

AAmeen ... !!!

I am so upset to read such reactions by people..they have been doing tremendously excellent work by wring such non sence on this blog and setting an example for all of us...see...this is how hatred can be culativated...and this is what people have done over the years...and one man who spent his life explaining this simple thing to what we call normal human beings would be so so happy to read all this...the only thing he want to tell us is not to hate people and a country just because there are some anti social elements in them...but most of us...normal people just dont want to understand this simple fact...
