The other day I was at the event organized by Elle Breast Cancer Awareness and Ogaan Cancer Foundation to create awareness for breast cancer and also to raise funds for the same. In India we fashion models have celebrity status. Not that I have any problems with that, it’s just that I see that getting on to them and some of them even lose sight of their work. And that’s what I have a problem with.
Abroad, models are never given celebrity status unless they are supermodels such as Kate Moss or Alec Wek. Read more
