Let’s talk about the prickly issue of marriage. Having gone through this rite of passage only once, I wouldn’t consider myself an expert. But the fact remains that I’m one of the votaries of the institution whose prime and most fabulous plus points is that it protects you from the big bad and boring world outside. Throw in a fat cheque that comes with a television deal like the one that has finally got Rakhi Sawant possibly getting ready to settle down among the mooses and Mounties in faraway Tronto (spelt in English medium media houses as Toronto), and that’s a clincher.
