There’s one thing in common between John Wayne (of spaghetti westerns fame) and myself (of instant spaghetti meal fame): both of us are unable to chew gum and walk at the same time. So imagine my difficulty – I restrict matters to myself as John is not only dead but also was never interested in cricket – when I realised that the Indian Premier League and the General Elections 2009 are going to take place during the same time. That’s like having Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu asking me from my kitchen at the same time: “Achha, how many spoons of sugar with your coffee?” and “Achha, how many spoons of sugar with your tea?” Read more
