Sometimes I feel the politicians of today are oblivious of the hard realities the poor people face in the country. No doubt the policies that they formulate sitting in their air-conditioned cabins often go haywire.
Recently Sonia Gandhi was on a tour to Rae Bareli, a constituency represented by the powerful Gandhi family- Feroze Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and now Sonia Gandhi. Ideally people would expect the ground situation to be better in the Gandhi’s bastion than the rest of the Hindi heartland. Read more
