Soon after I became the Resident Editor of Hindustan Times in Lucknow in mid 2001, the Patna Women Journalists Association sent me an invite to visit their state. They wanted to felicitate me for becoming the first woman RE in bhaiyaland, infamous for rampant male chauvinism.
