I watch TV fairly regularly these days. There’s Masterchef Australia for one thing. I find this season a little peculiar, because unlike the last two, it seems to be less about the food than the challenges, but I’m still pretty much hooked to it. Then there are reruns of How I Met Your Mother which I enjoy since there are lots of episodes I’d missed the first time around. And finally, I’ve been thoroughly hooked to Tiger – Spy in the Jungle on Animal Planet. Read more

One of the fallouts of my Kenya trip is that I watch more TV than before. More TV = more Discovery Channel, more Animal Planet and more National Geographic. These were always my channels of choice anyway, together with Discovery Travel and Living, but in the last year or so, I’d tended to switch on the TV only for the news. Now, I’m a semi couch potato again – and loving every second of it. Read more
