Just out of curiosity. Suppose you required a root canal. Or a filling in a tooth. Or just a dental check up. Would you go to a regular dentist? Or to one who, aside from offering dental services, also offered you a Thai foot massage complete with herbal oils, music and ambience before she or he got going with the drill?
I ask because I recently received a press release from a new dental service, just launched in Mumbai, that offers reflexology as well as the drill. And I thought I’d heard it all! Read more

It’s still not raining.
And I’ve spent so much time at the computer in the last couple of weeks, and then read so much when I’ve got home, that I have very tired eyes. Even though I sleep reasonably well (or as reasonably well as I can given that I’m grimly continuing my no air-conditioner this year vow – I’ve got so far without it that it seems silly to give in now when the monsoon HAS to break), my eyes never feel rested.
