Bill Gates made news when he playfully released a jar of mosquitoes a few days back at a conference in the US. The conference was TED 2009 and Gates was trying to make the audience of mainly rich people experience how it feels to be bitten by mosquitoes (he later clarified that the mosquitoes were uninfected!).
