A Good Look at Bad Language is the title of one of Kushalrani Gulab’s favourite books. It not only traces the history of bad words in the English language but also explains to the reader the situations when a mere @#$% will suffice and when the stronger %$^#@!***#$&@!!!@$% is called for.
